A wholesale order led to us to produce this stunning range of brightly coloured upcycled cushion covers with recycled cushion pads.
Designed by us and hand made in Ghana by our wonderful partner seamstress Tina. We selected this black and white ntoma cloth as it is reminiscent of house painting in the Sirigu village in Northern Ghana and also the Ndebele tribe of southern Africa. This contemporary cushion shape has proved very popular as it is filled to provide maximum comfort. Inspired by African imagery and culture to give your living room, lounge, or bedroom that extra pop of colour and meaning. Each design is available individually or as a set of two.
Cushion filling
This cushion pad is filled with 100% recycled polyester, making it soft and supportive. It's created from certified recycled polyester obtained from waste materials, such as plastic bottles and manufacturing off-cuts. By using recycled polyester, this product supports the shift towards a circular economy and helps reduce landfill waste. Additionally, when compared to virgin polyester, recycled polyester is better for the environment by preserving crude oil reserves during fibre production.
